Mourning Gloves with Fishing Flies

Deeply rooted in the etiquette, customs and traditions of mourning, mourning gloves were worn as a symbolic garment, reflecting an outward display one was in mourning and perhaps the inner sorrow of loss and grief.

The mourning gloves are embellished with fishing flies, which act as a visual metaphor, representative of my late father- a keen fly fisherman.
